Manuclean Cleaning Procedures

Our manufacturing cleaning process follows a rigorous, zoned procedure designed to control contamination, protect product, and produce the records auditors expect.

1. Facility Assessment & Sanitation Planning

1. Review production processes, materials, and any food, pharmaceutical, or chemical safety requirements
2. Map cleaning zones by risk — production lines, raw material storage, packaging, and general areas
3. Build a Master Sanitation Schedule defining what is cleaned, how, how often, and by whom
4. Confirm required PPE, lockout/tagout coordination, and safe access around active equipment

2. Production Area & Line Cleaning

1. Remove production debris, packaging waste, and residue from floors and work surfaces
2. Clean and sanitize equipment exteriors, guarding, and contact surfaces per approved procedures
3. Degrease work areas, tooling stations, and surfaces affected by oils and lubricants
4. Address overhead structures, ledges, and fixtures where dust and particulate accumulate
5. Follow allergen and changeover cleaning protocols to prevent cross-contamination between runs

3. Contamination & Particulate Control

1. Use HEPA-filtered vacuums and controlled methods to capture fine dust rather than redistribute it
2. Clean cleanroom and controlled-environment areas with lint-free, non-shedding materials
3. Maintain color-coded tools segregated by zone to prevent cross-contamination
4. Sanitize high-touch points — controls, panels, handles, and shared workstations

4. Warehouse, Storage & Loading Areas

1. Sweep and scrub warehouse floors, racking bases, and staging areas
2. Clean dock doors, loading bays, and receiving areas to control pests and debris
3. Maintain clear, clean, and marked safety walkways and egress paths
4. Manage waste segregation and removal according to facility and regulatory requirements

1. Scrub and degrease concrete, epoxy, and sealed floors using industrial equipment

3. Clean drains and trenches to prevent buildup, odor, and contamination sources

6. Verification & Documentation

1. Conduct ATP and visual inspections on critical surfaces to verify sanitation effectiveness
2. Complete signed cleaning logs tied to the Master Sanitation Schedule
3. Record and escalate any deviations, damage, or corrective actions identified
4. Deliver audit-ready reports for quality, compliance, and management review
